My name is Makeba Waller, I am the owner and lead sonographer of Ultraview Imaging. I started my career in the ultrasound industry while stationed at the US Naval Hospital in Camp LeJeune, North Carolina over 18 years ago as a Hospital Corpsman. After the war (Desert Storm) the number of pregnancies increased, so the doctors decided to interview potential candidates that were interested in the field of ob/gyn ultrasound. Since being selected for the position I have increased my knowledge in the sonography field and it has been the most fulfilling career decision ever.

After serving my time in the military, I decided to extend my knowledge in the ultrasound/medical field and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). That one decision I made more than 18 years ago has brought fulfillment to me.

As a mother of 3 wonderful sons and a wife of 19 years I find NO greater JOY in seeing the excitement and look of amazement when mothers and fathers see their unborn baby for the first time in 3D. Some moms even shed tears of JOY and have an instant connection when seeing their unborn baby for the first time. My desire at Ultraview Imaging is to provide my knowledge and ultrasound skills to maximize the prenatal experience with mother, family and child.
